By using the Simmernook app you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

AI guidance is informational, not professional advice

Simmernook’s guidance is generated by an AI model and can be incomplete or wrong. It is not professional culinary, nutritional, medical, or food-safety advice. Don’t rely on it for any decision where an error could cause harm; if you have allergies, dietary restrictions, or health conditions, verify ingredients yourself and consult a qualified professional.

Food safety is your responsibility

Follow the food-safety guidance on your ingredients’ packaging — cooking temperatures, use-by dates, storage, and allergen warnings — over anything the companion says, and use proper care with heat, sharp tools, and raw or perishable foods.

Price

Your first three cooks are free. After that, Simmernook Plus is $2.99 per month and includes 90 minutes of voice cooking each month; unused monthly minutes don’t roll over. You can optionally add 45 extra minutes for $1.99, and those never expire. A cook you have already started always runs to its finish — minutes decide whether a new cook can start, never whether one can continue, and anything you cook past your balance is covered by your next renewal or top-up first. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel; cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings. All billing, refunds and payment details are handled by Apple — we never see your card.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss arising from your use of the app — including reliance on AI-generated guidance or any food prepared with it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

Changes

We may update these Terms; we’ll revise the effective date above.
